50 days! (but who's counting . . . )
Yay! I am 33 weeks pregnant today. This pregnancy has got to be the longest I've ever had. It certainly feels like it anyway. I haven't figured out why. You would think the twins would have been much worse, but I am just miserable already, with 7 weeks still to go. The good news is that I haven't gained any weight this pregnancy. Believe me, that really is good news. I had plenty of extra to start out. I actually lost about 10 lbs in the very beginning and have gained most all of that back. Usually in the last 5-6 weeks I start losing again (I think it's the horrible, horrible heartburn). I may be able to wear clothes I haven't worn since before the girls if this keeps up! And yes, baby Matthew is growing well and getting all the nutrition he needs. This is my usual pregnancy pattern and I've had nothing but healthy babies so far.
The girls are soo excited. I can't wait to get some pictures of them with the baby, especially Katie. Every morning she kisses my belly and tells him good morning, first thing. And every night he gets the first good night kiss. During the day she will randomly come up to my stomach and tell him things about her day. "Look at that horse Baby Matthew. He wants to play with us." etc, etc. It really is so cute. Kind of funny to see Katie that way. Of the two, she is definately the tomboy while Kara is the girly girl. I would never have thought her to be the more nurturing of the two.
